# Drag and Drop

Use the `Drag & Drop` step to visually hint to the user that an element can be dragged, by playing a short drag animation.

**Key Characteristics:**

* **Purpose:** Demonstrates drag-and-drop functionality.
* **Animation:** Plays a visual drag animation towards a specified direction.
* **User Interaction:** Primarily visual; does not require user interaction to proceed.

### How to Use

1. In your guide editor, select the text where you want the step to appear.
2. Add the **`Drag & Drop`** step type from the menu.
3. Configure the step by specifying the direction of the animation (up, down, left, or right) in the right sidebar.
