Integration Time Expectations

• Total Technical Integration: Typically 1-2 hours.
• Core Components:
  1. JS Snippet Installation:
     • Adding the basic Pyne script usually takes 15-30 minutes.
     • See Installation Guide.
  2. Connecting User Data (for Targeting):
     • With Segment: Approx. 15 minutes (requires enabling Pyne destination). See Connect User Data.
     • Via JS API (pyne.identify): 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on data availability and API familiarity. See Connect User Data and JS API Reference.
  3. Adding unique IDs for most important selectors
     • Once you’re happy with the demo, there will be a few selectors (e.g. the elements users need to click on) for which you need to create unique IDs (e.g. datatest-IDs - once you know the right elements, creating the ideas takes ±15 mins)

Security and Trust

• We are ISO2001 certified, do regular Pentests, and are GDPR compliant. We are not processing PII data, nor do we handle unmasked events.
• You can find our Trust Center here.
• We also have an NPM package available, for which you will need an access token from us. Choose the NPM package when you need programmatic integration, reproducible versions, and scriptable updates; if you just need a single, standalone setup, the normal install is simpler and doesn’t require maintenance.

• Factors Affecting Integration Time
• Product Complexity: Applications with complex frontend frameworks or security measures might require additional testing or configuration.
• Developer Experience: Familiarity with JavaScript, Segment (if used), and your own user data infrastructure can speed up the process.
• Targeting Needs: Integrating custom or less accessible user attributes for Targeting Rules may take longer.
